Welcome to a new year of before and after school art enrichment classes!  We will be offering classes at numerous schools in the area.  Below you can view the schedule of classes at all public schools in the Mehlville School District.  If you are interested in any of the classes below you must register through the Mehlville Community Education Department.  You cannot enroll in these classes through this KhrisArt website.

Enrollment in this session includes participation in the 16th Annual Halloween Poster Contest

Number of classes: 6 consecutive
Grades: 1 - 5 (middle school 6th - 8th)
Fee:  $90, all supplies included  ( a portion of the proceeds is returned to the Mehlville School District)

Kris will be teaching a Beginner/Intermediate Colored Pencil Drawing Class at Meramec beginning Thursday, September 23, 2010 and running through November 4th, 2010.  It is a 7 week session. This is a class that introduces techniques to put realism in drawings with color pencil.  Intermediate students will create more sophisticated color pencil work.  The class meets in the afternoon from 12:45 - 2:45.
 
This Fall Kris will also be teaching a Basic Calligraphy Class at Meramec.  This class begins Friday, September 24, 2010 and runs through October 22, 2010.  It is a 5 week class.  You will learn calligraphy basics for letters and numbers- pen angle, letter slant and spacing.  Discover how to use this art form in practical ways. This class meets in the mornings from 10:00 - noon.
